I left it too late for the cards
The employer Etihad Rail is like the Mafia they just sack people for nothing. Our project director was sacked for the reception tent no being the right size on a site visit. I was warned before I worked on this project that 2 of our former project directors resigned due to Etihad Rail behavior. I know people from Etihad rail who have kids in school have resign in case they get sacked at the wrong time of the term
I got sacked on the 2nd April be my manager on behalf of Etihad rail track lead for not breaking our own company policy of not changing the status of the contractor reviewed document without a new submission, I told by Etihad rail over the phone to do it that day or sleep with the fishes, I have been waiting for other work here but nothing has come up. The railway industry in UK is now kicking off CP6 Network Rails 5 year spending plan one year late due to Brexit and covid 19 (No Brexit tear ups please) Recruiters are recruiting recruiters on LinkedIn
I got my expense of the 13th and get paid 5 days and some A/L on 25th, about $2000. I am booked here until 22nd and they are asking if I will extend further which I do not want to spend more money here
I got onto the FCO asked if I have the quarantine bill of 1750 as this a demobilization paid for by my company and believe it or not its border force and the hotel on any financial assistance
I can through a grand sterling back in when I get paid, I have a few offers on the table for work from Derby to Glasgow so need to hold onto some money to relocate and then pay back in full and more
